The FALU BV-2M is a semi automatic packaging machine and the ABS-2 is a fully automatic packing machine designed to be joined with the cotton swab CB1 series. The cotton swabs are automatically packed into polyethylene bags and are sealed manually (with a BV-2M) or automated (with an ABS-2).
The cotton swab production machine places the cotton swabs in a special cavity on the packaging machine. The cavity moves to the filling station where the swabs are automatically pushed into the bags that have been placed by the operator onto the packaging machine. The top side of the plastic bag can be zipper-locked with a sealing and a perforation at the top end.
The polyethylene bag typically contains between 50 to 400 swabs and can be customized upon request. The latest development in this area is the use of paper bags to eliminate the plastic.
